RENTAL CONDITIONS

The minimum age limit for drivers is 21 years and the maximum is 75 years. At the signing of the rental agreement the driver must present his/her Identity Card or Passport and the drivers license which must be valid for at least one year. Only original documents will be considered only drivers listed on the rental agreement are allowed to drive the rented vehicle. Only you, any driver named on the agreement, and anyone we have given written permission to, can drive the vehicle. There will be a fee of 10 € per day will apply to drivers under the age of 20 years. To Rent a Mini Bus (group of 9) or a 4x4 Suv (group of 7) drivers must be over 25 years.


All Payment are made at the time when the driver assumes responsibility for the rented vehicle. Payment can be made by cash, bank transfer or credit card (for credit card transactions a surcharge of 7% applies). Car Rental Ltd accepts all major Credit Cards. The renters must present their Credit Card at the time of picking up the car. Specified value pre-paid Credit Cards will not be accepted . The fare is based on the rental period which is calculated for every 24 hours non-divisible, effective from commencement of rental. Both dates and an exact time are mentioned on the contract. If a later time is chosen, a charge for an extra day applies. If the renter is not able to return the vehicle as foreseen by the contract, Car Rental Ltd must be advised as soon as possible and Extensions of rental agreement must be approved by the rental office concerned, the total extension of rental will not be for more than 30 days otherwise additional fees will be charged.


You are fully responsible for all road tolls and any fines or other consequences of the violation of traffic regulations (including congestion charges), parking orders or prohibitions, or any other laws or regulations, during the rental.


Our rates include unlimited mileage, comprehensive car insurance, 24/7 assistance and vehicle maintenance.
The driver agrees to return the vehicle to Car Rental Ltd on the date of return mentioned on the contract. In case of an extension of the duration of the rental agreement, Car Rental Ltd must be notified in advance and agency's agreement of the extension must be obtained.
Credit card accepted and approved with a surcharge of 7% (charged by Interbank Electronic Banking Center), you must not rent the vehicle to anyone else. You must also not use the vehicle or let someone else use it for any illegal purposes or in a way which would cause nuisance, to tow or push any vehicle, trailer or other object, without our written permission, for racing, or to test the vehicle’s reliability or speed off roads or on roads unsuitable for the vehicle, or you have been drinking alcohol or taking drugs, to carry unsecured loads to carry more passengers than the vehicle was manufactured to legally carry


The Reservation of the vehicle will be confirmed as soon as we process your request. All booking requests are subject to availability. For your convenience a validation notification will be sent to the email indicated by the customer for all online bookings. At the time of signing the rental agreement a guarantee (a deposit) is obligatory and is taken by making an imprint of a credit card by using a portable terminal for credit card payments. The deposit is secured on internationally accepted credit cards in a process known as a preauthorization. The authorization hold is cancelled once the car is returned to Car Rental Ltd.


No charge will be made for cancellation of a reservation that has been confirmed on line for payment on pick up, You may cancel your reservation at any time up to 72 hours before the check-out time without charge. Cancellation should be made direct with the Car Rental Ltd (by telephone or email).


Our vehicles have comprehensive car insurance with a deductible Franchise. The excess depends on the type of vehicle. The coverage includes civil liability, passengers, fire and theft of the vehicle. Therefore, any other incidents, which are not mentioned above, are on the responsibility of the customer and should be payable before leaving, or should be deducted from the Credit Card. Rented vehicles MUST be returned in the same state they were rented. The damage of the vehicle is covered by insurance only if accident report is produced within 24 hours.


- Our insurance does not include:
     • Damage to tires
     • The theft of personal Belongings items left inside the vehicle
Otherwise any damage if (Responsable) will be charged to the customer and must be settled when returning the vehicle.


Child or Infant Seats, Luggage Racks and Gps Satellite Navigation Systems can be booked through our online booking processing System.


You may purchase a tank of gas with Car Rental Ltd at time of rental and return the vehicle with as little gas as you prefer. Please be aware that we are unable to issue a refund for unused fuel. However, this method eliminates the need for you to refuel the tank prior to returning.


If you are collecting your hired vehicle at an airport, it’s essential that you provide Car Rental Ltd the correct flight details and arrival time, this can be done by phone or email upon confirming your reservation.

N.B: The driver remains responsible for the vehicle on and off the road (including parking). The renter must never leave the vehicle unlocked with the keys and car documents inside the vehicle in order to avoid becoming a victim of car theft by negligence, which is not covered by the comprehensive car insurance and in which case the renter would be entirely held financially responsible for 10% Franchise of a value of stolen vehicle. The use of vehicles (excluding 4x4) off the road is prohibited. The damage in this case remains the responsibility of the driver.
